Here is a reader profile I've created based on my findings which shows what sort of person would read my magazine.

Font Mood Board

In this post I created a mood board containing different music magazine mastheads. I have observed that most of then use the font San serif which makes the magazine seem more free and also attract more young people. whereas the font serif is usually used when addressing serious matters. I've also realised the colour red is used very often. The colour red has connotations of importance and urgency which shows viewers that their magazine is important and needs to be read.

Deconstruction of music magazine front cover and contents page

Mood Board

In this post I have made a mood board featuring several music magazines. The models used on these front cover are R&B/Hip Hop artists which is similar to what I want to use for my own front cover. I've also realised that the main colours used for these type of magazine covers are red and black. These colours are usually associated with power.
